Horseware Ireland is an established global leader in the equestrian goods sector, focusing on Horse Rugs, Equestrian Apparel and Equine accessories with a mission to make life better for the horse and Rider.
Mentored and grew the Product and Innovation team of 8 members, overseeing design, product development, materials, and product testing across all categories. 
Implemented an efficient innovation and development process resulting in short-term and long-term product strategy roadmaps, seasonal product briefs, design concepts, and product positioning, focusing on bringing consumer-led seasonal stories to life, ensuring on-time delivery for GTM launch and production.

Orchestrated seasonal range planning, storytelling, design, development and testing plans, ensuring delivery success to market launch and production for complete equine product ranges. Managing 300 styles / 1800 SKUs / season. 
Restructured brand range architecture and product DNA, using consumer data analysis, insights, sales input, and market research to inform decision-making and reduce overall complexity. Creating straightforward product positioning benefits for customers and the sales team.
Achieved target of €1.5mil in late add generated revenue for in season creation AW23 and €5mil, in forecasted revenue for SS24 season.
Streamlined product range complexity and ensured alignment with margin and cost targets. Resulting in a cost saving of €100K.
Led prioritisation of sustainability, REACH compliance, workmanship quality, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with EU regulations.
The product team Revive Rug concept was selected as a winner of the Spoga Horse Top Innovations Award for 2024.

As a member of the Senior Leadership team, I was responsible for the growth and leadership of the Product and Design team, consisting of 13 members, four direct Reports from Design, Development, Buying and Merchandising.

Established and implemented clear product identity while streamlining the end-to-end product creation process and product strategy in alignment with key organisational stakeholders.

Built the brand from scratch, managing production, costing, and sourcing.
Launched a D2C website, managing SEO, sales, distribution, email marketing, product copy, and customer service.
Created and executed all recipes, branding and packing design, including fonts, labelling, brand identity, photography and art direction for social media and website.
